Race Results from January 25, 2025 – NSR Formula 1 and Sideways Gr 5 1970’s at Claremont Raceway
With a big thanks to your host, Jim Wiseman, the races on 1/25/2025 featured:
- qualifying into 3 man race groups
- trophy’s for 2nd, 7th and 12th places
- commemorative race-box stickers for the heat Winners
All the direct result of Jim taking notice of the comments made in the 2024 Annual Club Survey and trying new approaches.
Next races are back at Jim’s, this time using the two RevoSlot Classes on February 8th.
Qualifying was certainly tight with the top 3 being separated by just six 1/1000ths of a second: TABUCHI, Kevin 4.542s, AHULII, Bob 4.545s, FLEENOR, Tim 4.548s.
NSR F1 was won by Tom, with a total half a lap ahead of Tim Fleenor who pipped Kevin by 2/10ths of a lap. Jim Wiseman and and Chris Sukimoto took 4th and 5th. Special Mention to Michael Glass who joined us for the first time.
Sideways Group 9 1970s was also won by Tom, with nearly a whole lap ahead of Tim Fleenor who pipped Kevin by nearly 3 laps . Chris Sukimoto Eddie Shorer took 4th and 5th. Special Mention to Michael Glass who joined us for the first time.
