Race Results from March 1, 2025 – Racer Sideways Group 5 1970’s and Slot.It LeMans 1980’s at Circuito de los Santos Raceway

Hi folks,

March 1, 2025 – Circuito de los Santos Raceway – Sideways Group 5 1970’s and Slot.It Group C LeMans 1980’s.

Another superb day of racing at Richard Rodriguez’s Circuito de Los Santos de Silverlake.

We missed a few regulars, including Walt and the donuts, but Eddie’s wife Julie surprised us with a birthday cake for Eddie.

The top spot in Group C was shared by Tom Giese and Kevin Tabuchi, with Eddie Shorer in 3rd, Richard Rodriguez 4th, and Tim Weston 5th. A minute of silence as we say goodbye to Ortmann tires in this class…

In Racer Sideways, it was Tom on top by a bunch, Eddie 2nd, Kevin 3rd, Chris Sukimoto (who constructed the track) 4th, and Bob Ahulii (who services many of our controllers) in 5th.

Next up, a 3-Hour Team Race at Eddie’s King Mini Boola Raceway on March 15th.

Next weekend will be a 4-Hour 1/24th scale race at Electric Dreams, and the Farrout club will have a team racing in it.
