2026 FARROUT CLUB CALENDAR AS OF JANUARY 31, 2026

Hi Folks,

Attached below is the revised calendar with a replacement Setup Day on March 1 replacing the initial Feb 8 date.

Also I am aware that I am hosting a race day on Valentine’s Day (Feb 14 for those of you wondering!).

This reflects the fact you are all in love with slot cars. Or it is a consequence of there being no other Saturday’s or Sunday’s free anywhere near that date and my wife is away for Calligraphy event

the entire weekend anyway. Choose the appropriate reality 🙂

I will schedule an early start of open at 9am race at 10am on the day to help you get back to your loved ones on the special day.

Hi folks,

Have just had it pointed out that the planned first Setup Day, on Sunday February 8, is also something known as Super Bowl Sunday, apparently a regular major Tupperware event

I will find another date for the first Setup Day, as I could not reach the Tupperware people.

Hi folks,

We now have a full 2026 calendar! No changes to classes or class rules in 2026. Still no oiling of tires regardless of what other groups do or that it cannot be policed. Have honor, don’t cheat and have fun 🙂

There are almost no overlaps with other SoCal slot car racing events during 2026, either between Farrout and others or between the others.

45 races on 25 race days at 8 tracks with 8 hosts and 9 classes of 5 races each and lots of fun

24 of 25 race days are on a Saturday, one is on a Sunday

4 Setup Days, all on a Sunday

Each host, mostly, hosts different classes each race day

Other SoCal race calendars to know about

There are almost no Saturday’s in 2026 without a race event, with July 4th and Dec 25th being the only exceptions
There are race events on 3/4 of the Sunday’s throughout the year, with the 1st Sunday of the month typically being the quiet day
- Electric Dreams – primarily Saturday’s when Farrout is not racing

- Piranha – 3rd and 5th Sunday’s of month
- Robert Silva Race Series (at Big Lou’s) – 4th Sunday of month

Besides the Farrout club races, we have a few other venues to race at available across SoCal.
