Race Results from Mar 21, 2026 – Revo Slot GT 1/2 and Fly LeMans 60’s/70’s at Claremont Raceway

Hi folks,

We had another exciting day of racing today at Claremont Raceway, with some close racing partly because we started out with qualifying, which grouped one with two other drivers with the closest times.  The results didn’t match the qualifying times exactly, but they are not supposed to.

We went computerless and paperless today, and relied on the whiteboard to record all results and so everyone could easily see how they were progressing.  I made more magnetic name plates for the board, so it was easy grouping the three person heats.  Thanks to everyone who entered results on the board and helped add up totals. 

Thanks to everyone for a smooth day of racing.  We were done by 2:00 PM, on a hot day.

 I hope you can make sense of the photos of the white boards.

I added up everyone’s totals again, and found one error on the Fly racing of Frank’s total, lifting him to sixth over Craig.

Thanks everyone for supporting Farrout Racing and Claremont Raceway.

There was very little use of the loaners this time.

Ford GT 40’s have come roaring back in the Fly class, with three being raced, and one was available in the loaners.  Michael Smalley would be proud, and indeed mine was originally set up by Michael.
