Race Results from May 11, 2024 – Racer Sideways Group 5 and Slot.it Group C 1980’s LeMans at Farrout Raceway…
Hi folks,
Fun day with 16 of us racing in both classes today.and Chris Snyder and Jim Monda coming to Farrout Raceway for the first time.
Starting with the Sideways Group 5 1970’s Kevin took the win by half a lap from Walter with Tim Weston grabbing a great 3rd place ahead of Tom and Bob.
In Slot.it Group C 1980’s Jim Wiseman took a great win (especially appropriate since it was his rescheduled race we were running!) by a full 3.4 laps ahead of Tom in second and Walter just 1/10th of a lap behind in 3rd. with Frank taking a great 4th and Tim Fleenor in 5th.
The next race is back at the Farrout Raceway on Saturday 25th May for the second Team Race of the season using the 3D printers chassis / slot.it parts in the Revell Monogram 1960’s Nascars. Should be a hoot!
